Dr. Strange

This project was, for myself, to really stimulate my abilities and push my skills. I've roughly invested around $300 thus far into this project.

While the intention of the project was to replicated the original design from the Marvel film Dr. Strange, I also wanted to experiment with texture and different materials.

I started this project in July 2019, and finished it in December 2019.

Floral two-tiered gown with fur accents

This is a drag costume, that was a re-design of pre-existing costume made back in 2021.

The skirts are lined with pink polyester broadcloth and interlined with crinoline. In between the lining is 2" horsehair braid.

The fur trim is hand sewn, each triangle is an individual cut piece.

The gown is one piece, and a lap zipper is hidden in the center front by a row fur trim piping.

Fosshape was used in the collar to add structure.

Floral short dress with bows

This dress was made from upholstery fabric. The bodice bow was made from sequin mesh with a broadcloth backing and lined with black polyester. The bow is interfaced with horsehair interfacing for structure.

The skirt is lined with black polyester and has a 2" horesehair braid in the hem.

The hair bow is interlined with fosshape.
